Every Sunday Morning

Sunday Offerings

A morning of practice, stillness, and community. Come for the Yoga class alone, or stay through the afternoon.

9:00 AM — A classical, traditional practice — 45 minutes

Hatha Yoga Class

A strong, supple spine and a full, steady breath affect far more than movement—they shape the health, vitality, and stability of the entire body.

This class brings together āsanas (postures) that restore strength and freedom to the spine—the body’s central axis and the primary pathway of the nervous system—with classical prāṇāyāma (breath extensions), which deepens the breath and allows prāṇa, the life-force, to move with greater ease and fullness.

Each class stands complete on its own, but the deeper aim is to establish a practice that becomes stronger, steadier, and more sustaining with each passing week.

We ask that you register in advance rather than drop in. This keeps the room quiet and the practice unhurried for everyone present—and it lets us prepare properly for who's coming. Thank you for understanding. Please see our class Guidelines, here.

Finding The Yoga Hall

Directions apps routinely send visitors the wrong way—please don't follow your GPS.
Follow the directions on our Directions page, and park by our sign.

  1. Walk up the driveway, along the stream.

  2. You'll see a wooden sign reading "Yoga Hall" pointing up a path on your right.
    Follow it up the hill.

  3. The path continues through the yard and around the cabin.
You'll come to a large building with a deck—this is the Hamsa.

Enter quietly. Remove your shoes. Roll out your mat.

10:00 AM — Fresh from our kitchen, followed by a guided walking meditation

Juice or Smoothie & Walking Meditation

After class, join us for a fresh juice or smoothie, the Ashram’s daily meeting about this event, and then walk together on Pradakshina — a guided walking meditation through the land. This is a practice in its own right: attention carried into movement, movement carried by the land itself.

You're welcome to come for this portion alone, even if you didn't attend the morning class.

$10 ~ RSVP Required.

11:00 AM — However you need this hour, take it.

Ashram Time

Offer a hand with seva—selfless service offered in the spirit of the ashram—if you're moved to. Or simply be. Sit by the stream. Meditate in one of our quiet temples. Spend an hour in the library. That, too, is part of the practice here.

12:00 PM — A shared meal, made with care.

Lunch

A vibrant, plant-based meal, made fresh and prepared to nourish a clear mind as much as a full body. We eat in silence, together, in good company. All are welcome, whether you've been here since 9:00 or you're only just arriving—just be sure to register in advance so we can prepare enough for everyone.

Eating at the dining hall

Finding the Dining area

Coming just for lunch? You're headed to a different spot
than the Yoga Shala. Drive straight up our driveway to the end.
You'll find the Big House on the hill — pull in and park right there.

The dining hall is right inside. Come on in. Please enter quietly as meals are held in silence. Thank you!

A Siddha Loka in Spring
